It’s a rare moment of grandeur watching Air France’s Boeing 777 flying ahead of the Alpha Jets from the Patrouille de France. The Patrouille de France, also known as Patrouille Acrobatique de France, is the outstanding precision aerobatic demonstration team of the French Air Force. The first French precision aerobatic team was founded in 1931 and has ever since demonstrated aerial acrobatics at its best. Since then the team has included a variety of different airplane types, the latest one being the Alpha Jet. The average age of most pilots is 30 to 33 years, the period of service is three years on average. This exceptional demonstration sports the colors of France high in the sky of La Ferté-Alais.
